"The Cask of Amontillado" Edgar Allen Poe Aleiah Schinkey & Lexi Pugliano
Montressor wants revenge, because Fortunato has made him feel terrible many times. So when he meets him at Carnival, he decides he wants revenge.
Montresor brought Fortunato to his home to lure him into the catacombs. He had previously made sure that none of the household attendants would be in the house.
Montresor took Fortunato down to the catacombs. As they were walking Montresor noticed that because Fortunato was drunk, he had a cough, but Fortanato insisted he was fine.
Montresor leads Fortanato into a room, where he then chains him to the wall and starts to build a wall.
Fortananto starts begging Montressor to let him out of the catacombs. Then Montressor calls back to him, but Fortanato doesn't reply. The second time he calls to him, all he hears is a jingle of bells.
