Film impression focusing on psychological aftermath of wartime horror that still reflects personal life of people who experienced that and were given a lifetime stigma and burden mixed with splendour of glory, that they must cope till they live. I mean burden of horrible experiences of cruel and relentless struggle, losses of brothers-in-arms dying before their eyes, and a life after, a daily drudgery of grey reality, often full of loneliness and oblivion. And I would like to leave in audience an impression of strict connection between the presence and the past, as well as a grey and bitter present life of a main character.
