  • Hey guys, what religion are you? I'm a Christian.
  • I'm Jewish!
  • I am a Muslim, which means my religion is Islamic.
  • That's really cool! Tell me about your religions.
  • In Judaism, we have the Torah...
  • That's neat! In my religion...
  • The three best friends Emily, Danelle, and Yasmin are having a sleepover and are talking about their different religions.
  • Well in Christianity...
  • Cool!
  • Danelle described Judaism to her friends and told them that it is monotheistic, (believe in only one god) their founder was Abraham, they worship in synagogues, and their holy book is the Torah which includes the First Testament.
  • Our religions are so different, but I just realized that we all have special holy books and fun holidays..
  • Oh yeah! we do have some things in common.
  • Then Yasmin told them about the Islamic religion and that they are monotheistic, Mohammad was the founder, they worship in mosques, there are two types of Muslims ( Sunni and Shia) and that their holy book is the Koran which includes the first testament.
  • I'm really glad that we all got to learn something new about each other's religions!
  • Lastly, Emily told them that in Christianity, they are monotheistic, Jesus was the founder, they worship in churches, and their holy book is the Bible which includes the first testament
  • The three friends all realized that all their religions are monotheistic, they all have holy books with the first testament, and that Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad are common throughout all three religions.
  • They are all glad that they know more about different religions and that they have noticed similarities and differences between them.
