This man had many pets, but his cat was his favourite. He and his wife both adored the cat.
Although all was going well in his life, he started to drink often which made him so moody, he called it a disease
He violently abused all his pets and even swore at his wife. One day he got so mad at his cat that he used his pocket knife to cut it's eye out the socket. He felt this wasn't enough as he went on to hang his cat with a noose. At night the house caught fire and maybe this had a link with what he had done to the cat.
Because of this issue they were poor and had to live in a cellar. One day when he went back to a bar, he noticed a black cat and asked the owner if he could have the cat, and the owner said that he had never seen the cat before. He continued to take the cat home. Once he went back home his wife was happy to notice that the cat only had one eye, which reminded her of what her husband used to be like before he started drinking.
But again, because of his disease he had become angry at the cat. After the cat almost tripped him he felt he had dealt with him enough so he took his axe and was ready to kill him, but his wife stopped him just before he had managed to kill the cat. He was even more mad at the wife now because she hadn't allowed him to kill the cat, so instead he stuck the axe in her head.
He knew he couldn't take his dead wife out, as the neighbours would notice, so he hid her behind a wall. The police had come to investigate again, they had found nothing, but just as they were leaving he told them how well built the house was. Just because of his arrogance he banged a stick against the wall, then suddenly the wall fell and the wife was to be seen. To his surprise the black cat was sitting on the wives head. The police were shocked
