  • When they finished...
  • Nothing, except sitting in this hot room waiting for you. Give me Bill'd money. I want to go home.
  • You're very pale. What's the matter?
  • Out in the street...
  • At home...
  • You look like corpse, are you getting ill, too? I feel terrible. Give me my medicine.
  • Fagin returned to the room and looked at Nancy when he say:
  • Sikes drank his medicine and fell asleep.
  • She sat down and she didn't know what to do. 
  • Half an hour later...
  • HOTEL
  • She returned home to Sikes. From his bed, Sikes saw her pale face and the anger in her eyes. 
  • Soon, i Rose's room...
  • Why did you want to see me?
  • Nancy said to herself. She kissed Sikes and left the house.
  • She was in a rich part of London. There, she entered a small family hotel. At eleven o'clock at night the place was quiet.  She persuaded the porter to take a message to Miss Rose Maylie, who was staying there.
  • Tell her that a young woman wants to speak to her urgently. I know seh will want to hear what I have to say.
  • Nancy told her everything she knew.
  • I'm going to put my life, and the lives of others, in your hands. I'm the girl that took little Oliver back to the thief, Fagin, on the day he went to the bookshop for Mr Brownlow.
