Storyboard Text

  • William Harvey
  • I'm known forDe Motu Cordis, which is based on the Circulation of the blood.
  • Isaac Newton
  • I never thought I could discover gravitation, three laws of motion, and a discovery of calculus!
  • Francis Bacon
  • I was the  1st Viscount St Alban
  • William Harvey (1578-1657) was an English physician who made seminal contributions in anatomy and physiology. This matters because if a doctor does not know how the blood moves in the body, that is no good and you would not want them to work on your body.
  • Johannes Kepler
  • Im best know for Kepler's laws of planetary motion, Kepler conjecture, Rudolphine Tables
  • Isaac Newton was an English mathematician, astronomer, and physicist who is recognized as one of the most influential scientists of all time and a big figure in the scientific revolution. He was also very known for his discovery of gravitation. This matters because we need gravitation to be able to stand and move around Earth , and we need English mathematicians and astronomers to do research for us.
  • Major Inventions
  • Wow! My invention (The microscope) Is pretty awesome!
  • Celsius degree is named after me I invented that. We are pretty cool!
  •  Francis Bacon was an English philosopher, statesman, scientist, jurist, orator, and author. This matters because we need English philosophers to us so we know some disciplines, scientist so let us know about cells, how the human body works, etc.
  • THE END
  • Thank you for reading my Storybord that on the Science Revolution!
  • Johannes Kepler was a German mathematician, astronomer, and astrologer. A big figure in the 17th-century scientific revolution, he is best known for his laws of planetary motion. This matters because we need to know the big three laws of motion on how those laws impact on us.
  • Two Major Inventions were the Microscope and the Thermometer. Galileo invented the microscope and Andres Celsius made thermometer. The microscope is important so that we could look at things up close that the human eye, naked, could not see. we could see a disease, cells, bacteria, and more. Thermometer is important so that we could test if someones temperature is 100 degrees or higher, they would be sick.
  • This is the end of my Storyboard That! Hope you learned some new things! :)
