  • I loved the old man. He had never wronged me He had never given me insult. For his gold I had no desire. I think it was his EYES!!!!
  • Rising Action
  • I made up my mind to take the life of the old man, and thus rid myself of the eye forever.
  • Climax
  • 11/20/17
  • The narrator became pestilent and took the life of the old man by sneaking him and suffocating him. He later hid his body under the tiles.
  • Arnan Khan
  • Yes, he was stone, stone dead. I placed my had upon his heart and held it many minutes. There was no pulsation
  • Falling Action
  • The narrator heard the heart beat of the old man beneath the floor when the police came to inspect. The narrator is being faced with dilapidation 
  • The narrator is taking care of the old man however, his eyes are insufferable to him. 
  • ...but the noise arose over all the continually increased. It grew louder
  • Resolution
  • The narrator cant handle the pressure so he vehemently tears down the tiles and showed the old man to the police. 
  • The narrator pondered if he should or shouldn't kill the old man. He finally decided he will. 
  • Here, Here!!!, It his the beating of his hideous heart
