This storyboard does not have a description.
Samantha lived in a house in Chicago. One day she wanted to go to the store and buy some fruit.
But Samantha did not know how much money to bring to the store. She did not want to bring too much or too little. She had a 5 dollar bill and a 10 dollar bill.
Which one do I bring?
Then Samantha had an idea. She knew that each piece of fruit would cost 3 dollars. She wanted to buy 2 pieces. How much would that cost altogether? She remembered that in math altogether means to add!
3 dollars + 3 dollars = 6 dollars! 6 dollars is more than 5 dollars so I need the 10 dollar bill!
Samantha went to the store with her 10 dollar bill and grabbed her 2 pieces of fruit. She went to buy the fruit but the cashier told her the machine was broken! He could not use it to tell her how much change she gets.
Then Samantha had another great idea. She knew that if she subtracted the cost of the fruit from her 10 dollar bill that would be the change!
10 dollars - 6 dollars = 4 dollars! My change is 4 dollars.
After Samantha got her change she went home and ate one piece of fruit. She saved the other piece for later!
