  • The Haitian Revolutions were the most sucessful slave rebellions in human history. Although technically the second revolution was to stay free, they hadn't become slaves yet
  • They revolutions were so successful not just because of 95% of the island consisting of slaves. The first revolution was because working conditions were as miserable as could possibly be, and death toll was high. The second revolution, is when Napoleon tried to regain control the citezens revolted.
  • DLP
  • The first revolution went on during a 2 front war on the French, who had currently obtained control over Haiti. The French, who did not want to fight a 3 front war, freed the slaves. The second revolution was saved when Napoleon's men attacked, and were all mostly killed by disease
