I started my new public speaking class, but I've been struggling to write my first speech.
Well, my favorite public speaker is Ronald Reagan. Throughout his presidency he made a lot of really good speeches and I've learned a lot from him.
Some simple tips to help with public speaking are to maintain eye contact with your audience, speak clearly, and add emotion to your voice.
One method that Reagan used a lot was anaphora. That's when you repeat the first word or phrase of a sentence multiple times.
It's also important to relate to your audience. That was one of Reagan's many skills.
Thanks for the help! I'm sure I'll be able to write my speech now!
