Storyboard Text

  • "Maybe Boo Radley isn't as bad as he seems, maybe he just needs a friend."
  • "Maybe I shouldn't ask her, she looks like she would be upset if I asked her."
  • "Maybe I should go back over to Boo, and apologize for how I have acted. I feel bad for making fun of him when I didn't even know him."
  • As scout looks across the street she sees everything that has happened, she thinks this may be the time to maybe start acting like a lady like Aunt Alexandra has told her. She says, " Maybe Boo Radley isn't as bad as he seems, maybe he just needs a friend."
  • Boo Radley came back outside and was getting ready to walk across the street to go see Scout. He was going to ask her why she doesn't act like all the other ladies in town, and why she is such a tom boy. He decided against it because he didn't want to upset her.
  • "I'm sorry for being rude to you when I didn't know you.
  • "It's okay, I accept your apology and understand that you're a kid.
  • "Maybe I should go back over to Boo, and apologize for how I have acted. I feel bad about making fun of him when I didn't even know him." Scout has flashbacks of when they were going to fight him out with Dill and Jem.
  • "That was weird Jem, I didn't know they were friends.
  • "I didn't know they were friends either. I thought they hated each other, and never talked to each other."
  • As Dill and Jem are talking, they look over and see Scout and Boo. They quietly listen to what the two are saying and they hear Scout ask for his apology for being rude when she never knew him. They are shocked to see Boo because they really haven't seen him before.
  • "I'm sorry for being rude to you when I didn't know you. I shouldn't have done that and i'm sorry. "It's okay Scout, I accept your apology and I understand that you kids are kids and going to act like it."
  • "That was weird Jem, I didn't know that Boo and Scout were friends," said Dill. "I didn't know that they were friends either. I thought that they hated each other and they never talked to each other," said Jem.
