  • Welcome to Philadelphia 1787.Right now it's summer time and its very hot and there are many bugs.
  • People aren't taking care of the city. People are throwing their trash into the street and also their poop.It's disgusting but it's how we live.
  • But right now there is something that's way more important than the heat and the trash. The Constitutional Convention is currently taking place inside. The delegates from the American colonies are meeting to solve the problem regarding the states rights of power.
  • Summer in Philadelphia was not a great time because the heat attracted a lot of bugs and with bugs comes diseases.
  • Order please. The Constitutional Convention is now in session. Please be seated.
  • People in the city were throwing their trash and poop into the streets. There was also little water for people to take baths. People were miserable.
  • First order for discussion is the argument of how many representatives each state should be allowed.
  • This was also the time that the delegates were to meet in Philadelphia for the Constitutional Convention. The delegates were hoping to resolve the states rights of power.
  • As a representative from Virginia, I favor the Virginia Plan. This plan is based on the state's population.
  • George Washington was elected the President at the Constitutional Convention. He was charged with making very important decisions for the colonies without fear of public disapproval.
  • One of the issues which needed to be resolved centered around the number of representatives each state should be allowed.
  • The Virginia Plan was favored by the larger states as each state would have a different number of representatives based on the state's population.
