  • Katniss Everdeen lives in District 12 where it is very cold, wet, and dark there, the woods are blocked off by a fence. Katniss hunts for food so that Katniss and her family don't starve. The capital doesn't provide food or shelter.
  • The Ordeal (Death/Rebirth)
  • Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her sister Prim to take her place in the Hunger Games and Peeta Melark got chosen for the male tribute they will go to the capital and be presented in front of President Snow. They will also be presented in front of the people of the capital.
  • The Call To Adventure
  • MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR.
  • Haymitch is the Mentor of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.Haymitch will give them advice on how to stay alive and how to find shelter! He tells them"Stay Alive"for advice.Effie Trinket is their guide.
  • The Return/The Road Back
  • Katniss and Peeta ride on 2 black horses and then all of a sudden they have fire on their backs! the people realize that Katniss is the girl on fire (in a good way). This is where they know that Katniss will be the victor. The rebirth of hope for district 12.
  • Peeta and Katniss have now entered the games, the games are held in the woods. The woods have a special place in Katniss's heart. They are called into the Arena for their fate. The person that runs the game says to all of them "May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor!" Only 1 person lives out of 24 people.
  • Katniss and Peeta have just risked each others lives and would rather die then kill each other so in that case the game maker let them both live. They come back home to District 12 and are now the victors of the 44th Hunger Games.
