In a castle in Ithaca
Odysseus (disguised as a beggar) enters and asks for food. Antinous throws a stool at him, and then an argument ensues. Penelope calls from the balcony above.
Penelope questions Odysseus, and then comes up with the idea of having the suitors shoot an arrow through the hole in axes to see which should be her husband.
All of the suitors and Odysseus (still disguised) take turns shooting the arrows. All of the suitors miss, but Odysseus goes last and hits the target.
Odysseus "shoots" Antinous and "kills" him. Then a fight breaks out, and one by one Odysseus "kills" all of the suitors.
Odysseus goes back up to Penelope's balcony, but he is transformed back into his normal self. He and his queen are reunited once and for all.
