  • Reason they're Famous
  • He was enrolled in the King's School in Grantham where he was introduced to chemistry. His mother pulled him out of school, to show Isaac how to become a farmer. Newton failed so he was sent back to school. His uncle conviced his mom to let Isaac go to Cambridge college. • Isaac Newton was a physicist and mathematician and was one of the great minds of the 17th century Scientific Revolution. With his discoveries in optics, motion and mathematics, Newton developed the principles of modern physics. In 1687 he published his most famous works,Philosophiae, Naturalis, Principia Mathematica", which has been called the most influential book on physics.
  • Thanks to Isaac Newton's discoveries we now know the movements of the Sun and the planets in the solar system. He also discovered the concept of gravity, which explains why we're not floating around, and stuck on the ground instead.
