  • Spokesperson: "Hello and welcome to Blendtec’s introduction on a vendor to warehouse Kanban system! To begin, let’s define what a Kanban is. A Kanban is defined as a signboard, and in Blendtec’s case is a signal used to control the inflow of raw components for production. Components are only replenished only as they are used."
  • Introduction
  • VO:"Blendtec’s vendor to warehouse Kanban cards contain the item number, who the supplier is, the quantity per unit, the unit of measure, the Kanban card’s number, and the total number of cards in the system. You will also notice a picture of the item on the bottom of the card. The back of the Kanban card provides the contact information for the individuals who will receive the replenishment request. A blue stationary card provides replenishment instructions for each item and it should never be removed from the Kanban board."
