  • Sis why didn't you just ask for my help I know plenty about the Stamp Act
  • UGG I'm stuck on my report about the Stamp Act of 1765! This is due Friday and I'm not even halfway done!
  • England 1765
  • The Stamp Act was caused by King George wanting to raise money to supports his troops so he decided to tax every stamp and printed piece of paper the colonist used. This act was passed in England on March 22, 1765 and officially effected the 13 Colonies on November 1, 1765
  • We need to make more money to support our troops
  • UGG another thing taxed Great!
  • New tax on paper all printed paper is taxed!

  • The Colonist didn't like the fact that King George taxed stuff without their permission so the colonist decided that they were going show King George what they were worth!
  • Thanks to the stamp act we're going to react!

  • The people are furious you might want to think twice on this the people aren't buying the stamps or printing paper anymore because they don't want to pay the tax!
