Ronald Reagan signs the fist proclamation for the Woman's History Month.
Anyone can do anything, all it takes is strength and perseverance.
In 1987 Ronald Reagan is signing the first proclamation. Reagan is signing it because Women's History Month is going to be now in March. Ronald and everyone else were going to mark their calendar and say that March is the month of Women's History. Ronald was saying that women can make history everyday. There is always a way to make history everyday, and people will notice.
Us women are equal to men, and can do as much as of what they can do, or we could do more.
This cell is about how women can do anything. It also talks about how anyone can do anything but they need to want it, in order to get it. You don't need anyone to tell you who you're gonna be when you grow up, that's your decision. These women didn't let anyone get in their way from making history. You can do anything you want, so make it happen, because you can make history too.
This cell is mainly going towards to what women have done over the past hundred years. For example the office women, there used to only be men and now there's women in offices working and making history. Amelia Earhart (the bottom right corner) was the first women to fly solo for the aviation for the United States and was an author. In the middle, cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, was the first women to go into space! Valentina made history, and so can you and everyone else.
This cell strip is trying to tell you that men and women are equal, but not all the way. Men were known as the workers and protectors. Women are trying to prove those men wrong. Even if women aren't like men doesn't mean women can't try and be heros. Us women aren't all the way equal to men but we can be at least 98% like men and we could probably be even better.
This cell strip is mainly showing what women can also be. What it's trying to show is that women can be excellent workers, but we can also be women. We have proven that not just men can make history, but us women can too. We women also make sure that our family is safe and is good so we could go to work or school. Woman can be moms, princesses, grandmas and women that are still stuck in the 1900's, and we can still go to work and try our hardest just like men.
Ronald Reagan officially made March the month of Women's History.Ronald was talking about how women are to our nation.Ronald was saying there should be a day where we celebrate these special women have done for our nation. We should respect for how our world became a world with women. One of his quotes"In Witness Whereof, I've hereunto set my hand this sixteenth day of March,in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and eighty‐seven,United States of America the two hundred, eleventh."
