  •  Growing tension between Britain and the Colonies. 
  • The quartering act 
  • Come on! hurry up.
  • The Stamp act  
  • This is unfair! Why should we pay for Britain's national debt!?
  • In chapter 10 Britain was making the rules for the colonists and the colonists didn't like it, that is called Taxation without  representation. So the British was making rules without the colonists having a say in them.   
  • The Boston Massacre 
  • He said fire right?
  • The quartering act is the colonists having to supply the soldiers their items. for example: their food, transportation, candles and shelter. 
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • The Stamp act was the colonists having to pay for all paper printing items. Also people had  to pay more than the regular amount of something so the British could pay of their national debt. 
  • The intolerable acts
  • The Boston Massacre was started by a couple colonists were protesting and were throwing rocks and snow at the soldiers and one of the soldiers thought their captain said fire and shot his/her gun and everyone else started to fire. 5 young men were killed and 6 injured.   
  • The Boston tea party was when Britain raised taxes of tea and made shore the colonists only bought from a certain company called The British East India company. The colonists would not tolerate these rules so, a group of men dressed up as native Americans and boarded the delivery ship and dumped 90000 pounds of loose tea into the sea.
  • Tea
  • The intolerable acts were laws that were so harsh that the colonists would not tolerate them. So the British closed the harbor so no trade ships could come or go until the colonists obeyed them.
