  • Henry Clay and JQ Adams corrupt bargain. This makes Jackson very unhappy. Adams wins the presidency thanks to Clay.
  • Hey, if you give me a job I can make you president. You in?
  • 
  • Yes... YES I like this. I'm in!
  • This is unacceptable 
  • Jackson campaigns for 4 years and defeats Adams before the election even happens. Jackson wins the 1828 election in a landslide.
  • Hmmm how can I beat Adams? How about I trash his name!
  • I represent the people! The elite will no longer rule this country! The people are the true leaders.
  • I'm an actual polotician why don't you pick me I actually know what I'm doing.
  • Jackson fired pretty much everyone in his cabinet and replaced them with his own supporters. He also gave away the cabinet jobs away to people he knew rather than people who knew what do.
  • Thanks son I don't know anything but I'll give it a shot.
  • You're fired! Anyone want a job? Do you need a job dad?
  • How dare you fire me!!
  • South Carolina and the south was upset from this new high tariff on imported goods. They passed the Nullification Act saying that in South Carolina the tariff will be ineffective. Jackson was not happy and threatened to send troops to make them listen. They came up with a compromise and lowered the tariff.
  • Fine. If I lower the tariff will you stay?
  • No way! You're staying and I'm going to make you!
  • We hate this tariff! If you don't change it we're leaving the union. 
  • Deal.
  • Don't send troops please there must be some sort of compromise.
  • The Americans wanted the land that the Natives were living in so Jackson pressured Congress into making the Indian Removal Act of 1830 which meant moving them all to a new territory later known as  Oklahoma
  • We have a new home for you. Sign this treaty and leave and we'll have no trouble.
  • The Seminole will go
  • The Cherokee refuse!? We will not leave!
  • The Choctaw will come as well
