The historical background of Judaism is different from Buddhism because Buddha was not enslaved or forced to work for invaders from another land like the Jews did. Buddha simply traveled around and meditated.
The fundamental beliefs of Judaism are different from Buddhism because in Buddhism people believe in many Gods. In Judaism, they believe in only one God.
