  • Let my take your place on the front line.
  • AJAX AND HECTOR FOUGHT UNTIL THEY PROVED THAT THEY BOTH WERE PROVED TO BE GREAT WARRIORS AND BECAME FRIENDS. DIOMEDES LEAD THE WARRIORS TO THE TROJAN GATE BUT ZEUS KEPT HIS PROMISE AND DROVE THEM BACK TO THE SHIPS. AFTER SEEING THAT ZEUS WAS NOT ON HIS SIDE AGAMEMNON WAS READY TO RETURN HOME BUT ACHILLES REFUSED.
  • 9- BATTLE FOR THE SHIPS

  • DIOMEDES AND ODYSSEUS WERE SENT AS SPYS TO THE CITY OF TROY. TROJANS ALSO SENT SPYS NOT KNOWING THAT THE GREEKS DID. DIOMEDES AND ODYSSEUS SAW THE SPY AND CAPTURED HIM. THE SPY TOLD THEM EVERYTHING THAT HE KNEW EVEN ABOUT THE BEST HORSES THAT BELONGED TO KING RHESUS. THE MEN WENT TO KING RHESUS' CAMP, SET HIS HORSES FREE AND KILLED KING RHESUS IN THE NIGHT.
  • 10- THE ARMOR OF ACHILLES
  • ACHILLES WATCHED THE BATTLE FROM HIS SHIP HE SAW PARIS SHOOT MACHAON WITH AN ARROW AND SENT PATROCLUS TO FIND OUT IF MACHAON WAS ALIVE. NESTOR TOLD PATROCLUS TO TELL ACHILLES THAT IF HE WASNT GOING TO STAND WITH THE GREEKS AND FIGHT THEN SEND SOMEONE ELSE TO LEAD THE WARRIORS. PATROCLUS VOLENTEERED BECAUSE WAS OF THE SAME SIZE AND BUILD AS ACHILLES.
  • 11- VENGEANCE FOR PATROCLUS
  • AFTER ZEUS TURNED HIS ATTENTION AWAY FROM THE BATTLE POSEIDON SAW THAT THE GREEKS WERE IN TROUBLE AND HELPED THEM OUT. WHEN ZEUS TURNED BACK HE SAW THAT POSIEDON HAD HELPED HIM AND THAT HECTOR WAS DYING. ZEUS ORDERED APOLLO TO REVIVE HECTOR.
  • ACHILLES AGREED TO PATROCLUS' IDEA BUT TOLD HIM TO COME BACK AFTER HE SCARED THE TROJANS AWAY. PATROCLUS DIDNT LISTEN TO ACHILLES' ORDERS AND WENT TO BATTLE AGAINST HECTOR AND FOUND HIS DEATH BY THE HANDS OF HECTOR. HECTOR TOOK ACHILLES ARMOR AND LEFT THE GREEKS AND TROJANS TO FIGHT OVER THE BODY.

  • AFTER HEARING ABOUT THE DEATH OF HIS FRIEND AND RECEIVING ARMOR MADE BY HEPHAESTUS ACHILLES WAS READY TO GO INTO BATTLE AGAINST HECTOR. AFTER A FIERCE BATTLE AND THE FALL OF HECTOR. ACHILLES DRAGGED HECTORS BODY BEHIND HIS CHARIOT ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE SHIPS.
