Storyboard Text

  • Queen Dido's bedroom
  • Aeneas is so good at telling tragic stories - kinda like Sychaeus. And they were both part of a tragic story - they have so much in common.
  • Why are you doing this, Pygmalion? I thought you always liked my smile.
  • Give me your crown, Sychaeus!
  • Does he not understand I'm this close to pulling out my sword?
  • You're probably right, Anna.
  • Aeneas is the first suitor who has told you a tragic story since Sychaeus' death. Maybe you should give him a change. You can always delay him.
  • What are those mysterious white beings?
  • Queen Dido and Aeneas happily married
  • Did we discover a new species?
  • I, Mercury, am here to remind you of your fate - to live in Italy.
  • Get back on topic!
  • Wow, are those wings? I always wanted some, but I've been told I'm too flighty.
  • Fine. I'll sail to Italy as soon as my fleet is prepared.
  • Oh Dido, I never wanted to leave you. I've never lied to you... well... except for the time I told you the dog ate the pork chops.
  • If it wasn't for a concept called fate, I would never leave you.
  • You have ruined my reputation, Aeneas! I hope your ship crashes into a reef, and you cry out to me for help!
  • I don't care about your concepts! I just want my tragic-story-teller!
