The Sabine tried declared war on Rome. The tribe was angered and wanted freedom back.
After many years, the war had finally ended and the Sabine tribe agreed to become part of Rome under the kingship of Romulus.
The legend is ended by telling how Romulus was carried to the heavens by his father, Mars, And is now worshipped as the God Quirinus.
