Storyboard Text

  • Come on bud! Tell me about this Recombinant DNA technology.
  • Sounds interesting!
  • rDNA is a series of procedures that are used to join together DNA segments.
  • What are the processes of this amazing thing?
  • Tell me more!
  • Right! The first step is the identification and isolation of gene of ineterest and preparing the target DNA.
  • Where did he get these pieces of information? He's so smart! He's a Matsing after all.
  • Next is the insertion of the isolated gene into the vector.
  • Ohh. Uhm, it's kinda embarrassing but I feel my tummy growling. Can we stop by and eat first?
  • Then, the introduction of vector in a host. Then the selection of the transformed cell will occur.
  • HAHAHA. Sure! I feel mine too.
  • So yeah, multiplication of the induced gene in the host follows. Target cells reproduced and those cells produce proteins.
  • And it's done :)
  • All I can say is WOW. It's truly amazing.
  • As we wait for our food, please continue about the processes.
  • Hehehe. No problem! I'll tell you more when we meet again.
  • Thanks Matsing for sharing this amazing knowledge to me!
