Moe Berg was the third child of Bernard Berg. Played baseball at the age of 7. Graduated from Barringer High School
Enrolled in New York University. Spent two semesters playing basket & baseball. Studied seven languages. Latin, Greek, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Sanskrit.

Berg batteda .611 and played first base. He signed his first big league contract for $5,000 ($72,000 today) with the Robins
Berg was assigned to South America and the Caribbean in 1942 and 1943. And left in June 1943. Berg joined the Office of the Coordinator of inner American Affairs.
Berg was Jobless for the next 20 years, living with friends and relatives. When his brother kicked him out of his house Berg finally moved in with his sister, where he died.
Moe Berg died in May 29th, 1972, at the age of 70, from injures from a fall. Last words were "How did the Mets do today?" (They have won)
