Storyboard Text

  • Grace! you need stand up and say the pledge of allegiance or you will get suspended.
  • You cant do that it is against the first amendment.
  • Stop, you are being arrested for having a gun!
  • The second amendment says that I have the right to bear arms.
  • We are not obligated to do that after the 3rd amendment.
  • I demand food and shelter immediately
  • This particular Amendment has many rights in one such as freedom of press and religion to name a couple. I chose to explain in the picture above our right to have freedom of speech. The pledge of Allegiance is a good example to understand this particular amendment. This picture is explaining how a teacher suspending a student for not saying the pledge of allegiance is against the law.
  • You are coming in and ruing my home without a search warrant!!
  • Police don’t need a search warrant. I am coming in and searching for what I am looking for.
  • The second amendment is the rights to bear arms. The picture above shows how this is a violation of this right because the police office is arresting him and sending him to jail.
  • No, I will keep questioning you until you give me the answer i am looking for. We will not call your lawyer.
  • I will not speak until I have a lawyer.
  • The third amendment deals with the quartering of soldiers. In the picture of above it shows a solider demanding food from the people who live there which is a violation of the third amendment.
  • I have decided to not listen to any of your cases and you will all be going to jail immediately.
  • The fourth amendment is the freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures. In this scene it becomes evident that this is a violation of the fourth amendment because authorities have to have a warrant in order to search your home. They can not simply come in and invade your home because they feel the need to do so.
  • The Fifth amendment says that a person cannot be forced to testify against themselves in court. In this picture it is a violation of this amendment because the man is asking for a lawyer and the judge will not let him speak to one.
  • The sixth amendment says that a citizen has the right to a fair and speedy trial. In this illustration it shows violation of this amendment because the judge is not listening to any of the cases and he is automatically sending them to jail.
