Hmm, I wonder what the probability of me rolling a 2 on my 6 sided die is. Let's find out!
I can help you! first figure out the fraction as a normal fraction/percent answer.
Well first I know that 2 would be 1 outcome out of 6, so I can put 1/6 down as my fraction answer.
If I then divide 100 by 6, I would then get 16.6666667 which would round to 16.6 . My percent answer would then be 16.6%
Whats the probability that a randomly selected candy will be a yellow one?
First a know that I should count the yellow candies and put them in a fraction over my total which would be 8/21 which can't be simplified so that's my fraction answer.
Now I'll do the percent answer. For percent I know that I need to divide 8 by 21. I then get o,.38 which is 38% and that and 8/21 are my final probability answers!
