Storyboard Text

  • During the 1930's, at Toll House Inn, Ruth Wakefield was trying to bake a plain chocolate cookie for her guests. While baking she realized she had ran out of bakers chocolate. To substitute she chopped a Nestle chocolate bar and put it in the batter which she then baked  in the oven.
  • She thought the chocolate would spread throughout the cookie while baking like bakers chocolate did but when she took the cookies out she saw that the chocolate pieces stayed in there spots and softened into a gooey chocolate. She named it The Chocolate Crunch Cookie!
