Storyboard Text

  • Irene lives in a magical kingdom with her nanny, since her mother is very ill.
  • How boring. I have nothing to do, I think I'll look around a castle for a bit.
  • Okay.
  • Irene can't go outside when its dark, since there are goblins who live underneath a bridge and harass people at night.
  • Hello Irene. Would you like to go outside where it is still bright?
  • The nanny noticed that it was starting to get dark, so she started to run back to the castle, gesturing to Irene to follow.
  • A goblin jumped in front of them , and almost got too close until...
  • A boy named Curdie shouted at the goblin and told him to get away.
  • YEAH!!!
  • Leave them alone you ugly moster!
  • Thank you so much for helping us. What is your name?
  • Curdie and Irene became very good friends later on. The moral of the story was courageousness can lead to friendship.
  • My name is Curdie. It was no problem.
