You're in Europe, the scene of one of the most deadly disease outbreaks ever almost 700 years later.
After having lunch with a cardboard cutout of Obama at Your Favorite European Cafe (the best Cafe), your friend who loves rats sees a rat scurry around the chairs, and she picks it up. You notice little specks jump from the rat to your friend
Your Favorite European Cafe
In the next 2 to 6 days, your friend starts seeing blue boils on their body. Eventually, they start coughing, sometimes with blood.
Your friend races to the Best European Hospital.
The Best European Hospital
She caught the bubonic plague. The doctors used either Gentamicin, Ciprofloxacin, Doxycycline, and Tetracycline to treat the disease. She could have prevented the disease by not touching the rat. She lived though!
The disease is so uncommon that your friend even got her own news story! It was kind of bad due to the limitations of this website.
