Follow me to Canaan!
The population is getting too big and the Israelites might become powerful, I shall make them all slaves!
One day a man named Abraham lived in Mesopotamia, God told him that he would lead Abraham to a place where he could make his descendants into a mighty nation.
Oh, No! I'm just going to let them go.
The population in Egypt was starting to grow, and the Pharoah was starting to worry about it. He was worried the Israelites would become too powerful so he made them all slaves.
God told Moses to go and free the Israelites when Moses asked the Pharoah said no.
And why would we go with yours! We will go our own way
We are not going with your decicion!
Moses rained plagues on Egypt, he scared the Pharoah so bad that he let the Isrealites go.
The Israelites headed back to Canaan, on their way the went over a mountain called Sinai, God gave Moses two stone tablets, he wrote a moral set of laws on the tablets called the Ten Commandments.
Once the Israelites reached Canaan, they had to fight for their land and soon conquered it. Some years later the king died, they couldn't decide on who would be the next king so they split into two kingdoms, one called Isreal and one called Judah
