  • Soothesayer
  • Flavius and Murellus get angry with the Roman commoners because they are now celebrating Caesar's victory over Pompey, when they were just celebrating Pompey last week.
  • Caesar thrice denied the crown.
  • Flavius and Murellus go around Rome taking down the additional decorations for Caesar.
  • It is the Festival of Lupercal.  Caesar tells Antony to whip his wife, Calpurnia, during the race, so she can get pregnant.  The Soothesayer warns Caesar to be careful on March 15; however, Caesar ignores him.
  • Casca informs Brutus and Cassius that Antony tried to give Caesar the crown three times.  Cassius and Brutus talk about Caesar possibly becoming the crowned ruler of Rome.  Brutus does not like the idea of having a dictatorship.
