Storyboard Text

  • Beginning
  • I hate his eye
  • Middle
  • End
  • There was a guy that lived with an old man.The old man had a weird eye which was believed to be cursed. The guy didn't think he was crazy, but he was.
  • Reason I Don't Trust The Narrator
  • Finally the problem is done. I did good in getting rid of the old man with the eye.
  • The guy was crazy because one day he got so paranoid that the old man's eye was dangerous he started stalking the old man in his sleep. He would go to the old man's room and just stare at him. He ended up killing the innocent old man because of his eye.
  • Second reason Why I Don't Trust The Narrarator
  • For a few hours the guy felt happy he had finally got rid of the eye. He was so proud for himself but then he started feeling guilty about the murder. He was at the police station and there were two polices that were having a normal conversation but the guy went crazy and started throwing the chairs and ended up telling the police what he did.
  • Third Reason I Don't Trust The Narrarator
  • The narrator does not seem to think that killing someone is a negative thing. "...In the wild audacity of my perfect triumph, placed my own seat upon the very spot beneath which reposed the corpse of the victim" p.630
  • Nararator stalks the old man every night at midnight. "And every night, about midnight, I turned the latch of his door and opened it- oh so gently!" p.626
  • The narrator might have killed more people in the past because he knows how to kill and hide bodies. "...I dismembered the corpse. I cut off the head and the arms and the legs. I then took up three planks from the flooring of the chamber, and deposited all between the scanting" p.629
