  • Conflict
  • QB1 takes place in Granger, Texas. Jake Cullen is on a journey to become the starter quarterback for his high school football team, he can not complete this task without the motivation of his coach and his friends Nate and Bare. But he is not the only quarterback trying to be the starter, Jake must beat Casey, his rival, to be the starter.
  • Climax
  • In the race for for the starter position for QB Jake is motivated by his brother, his friends, and his coach. His co coach stays after many practices in order to make Jake a better QB. His friends talk to him in attempt to motivate him.Lastly, his brother being the star of the family motivates Jake to get better.
  • The Falling Action
  • The problem in QB1 is Jake Cullen is battling out against Casey for the starting position. Jake is always tring to prove himself to be the best quarterback for the starting position. He also comes across other problems in the story that builds up the Climax of QB1.
  • Resolution
  • The Climax of QB1 is when Jake attempts to win one of the most important games of the season by himself. First in goal, Jake snaps the ball and is ready to throw the ball, but Jake sees an opening in the defense and makes a run for the end zone. He is almost there when out of nowhere a defensive man hits Jake, hard. He gets a concusion, yet he still flies into the end zone for the winning touchdown. Yet it looks like Jake isn't going to play in the championship.
  • The falling action of QB1 takes place behind the Cullen ranch. Casey has been missing way to much in practice and is the Granger Cowboys' only hope. Jake pulls Casey away from practice so that his dad Troy Cullen, a football legend, can get Casey back into the swing. By the end of the sesion Casey is able to throw accuratlly. But the question is will this stay the same?
  • In the end, Jake is able to play with a couple seconds left in the game. He runs a special play were Jake is the wide receiver and is next to Calvin were everyone is expecting it to go to, yet then Casey throws it to Jake for the winning touchdown. Lastly, he is celebrated by his family and his father is proud of him.
