  • In the start of the story Stanley gets sent away to Camp Green Lake for stealing shoes. The camp does not even have a real lake it is just a dessart. He has left his family for a eighteen months. Little does he know he will make a really good friend at the camp named Zero and some fake friends like Zigzag and Arm pit.
  • Cliamx
  • A surprising part of the story is when Zero hits Mr. Pendanski with a shovel because he was saying how stupid Zero was, even though Zero is really good at math. Then zero runs away from the camp leaving everyone in shock.
  • Falling Action
  • Stanley goes to save Zero and finds Zero really sick from eating rotten peaches he calls sploosh. Stanley then carries Zero up the mountain they call the gods thumb. They hope to find water but first they go up gods thumb and find onions which was better then sploosh. Then they find water.
  • Resolution
  • The climax is when the Warden and Mr. Sir find Stanley and Zero in a hole with deadly lizards all over them with the case they were looking for for years. Supposedly the case is worth a lot of money so every one is searching for it.
  • Stanleys lawyer came and said to set Stanley free. they also said They will press charges for child abuse and more. When they asked for Zero's files they supposedly disappeared so now Zero will go home with Stanley.
  • When they opened the case there was a paper that stated that stanley's family gets millions of dollars. Stanley bought a house for his dad to do experiments in and zero bought a private investigator to look for his mom. Now Stanley and his family have a nice house and a lot of money.
