Storyboard Text

  • Fenrir refused to allow the gods to restrain him unless one of the gods was willing to stick their hand in his mouth in the process of being restrained, so that if the restraint was too strong and un-breakable, the god's hand would be bitten off. Tyr was the only god who was brave enough to do so. That's how Tyr lost his left hand.
  • Tuesday is named after me, Tyr! It started as "Tyr's Day", and gradually evolved into "Tuesday".
  • Tyr is hosting Thingstide in this image. Thingstide is at the end of war-time and is the time of year to create treaties, marriages, and was the time for trials.
  • In this scene, Tyr's followers are depicted meting out justice to someone who broke the law.
  • In this image, Tyr is hosting and celebrating Disting. Disting is a time of swearing oaths because this is the beginning of the war-time.
  • Tyr is dispensing justice to a murderer, thief, and rapist.
