A father had 2 sons and the younger son demanded his share in the estate. He then went off and squandered his money living wildly. He was ashamed of himself
He got a job feeding pigs for a citizen but was fed nothing himself. He said to his self 'how many of my fathers hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death.'
He then went to his father to apologise and offer to be a servant but on his way there, his father spotted him and ran up to him in glee. The father was alive with merriment and took him home.
Oh son, I love you.
He brought his son home and got his servants to get him a ring, sandals and the best robe. He then went and killed the fattened calf. His brother was angry by this and refused to come inside.
•The older son complained to his father and how he had slaved away for many years. His father replied 'you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.'
The moral of this story is that, it doesn't matter how badly you have sinned, God will always find it in his heart to forgive you and then go on to give you a second chance.
