  • The year was 480 B.C. the Persians wanted the Greeks land so they went to conquer them. Phoenician contributed the most to persians
  • The blockage
  • The Greeks led by Themistocles were preparing for a Persian naval attack. The Greeks were greatly out numbered which put the Greeks at a disadvantage. Athens contributed the most to the greeks.
  • The attack
  • The Persians blocked the ends of the strait so the Greeks were trapped.
  • The end
  • The Persians ships couldn't maneuver in the small spaces. The Greeks seized the opportunity and flanked them from behind.

  • The Persians and Greeks went into a battle and ships started to ram and people started to board each others ships. The battle was fought in the strait between Salamis and Piraeus.
