Im almost done with interphase, where I carry out normal life functions. My DNA is already duplicating
YES! I can feel my spindle fibers stretching and my DNA is finally turning into chromosomes. I must be in prophase.
MY DNA HASNT EVEN DUPLICATED YET!
Im changing again, I think im in metaphase. my chromosomes are lined up and attached to my spindle fibers.
OUCH! My chromosomes split and are at opposite sides of my cell. That must mean im in anaphase!
My chromatids are separated opposite sides and a new nuclear membrane forms around them and they begin to go back to loose strands. I am beginning to pinch in. Im in telophase now!!!
There you are! my... wait. Did you already hit cytokinesis!
Yep, now we are two, separate, genetically identical daughter cells.
