Romulus and Remus were two brothers. They were princes, and their mother was the princess. However, their mother was forbidden from having children. When their uncle found that they were born, he threw them into the River Tiber to drown.
However, the river had other plans. It washed them ashore where they were met by a she-wolf. The wolf raised them as her own, and they grew into healthy children.
One day, their mother, the she-wolf was killed by a hunter. The hunter found the brothers and raised them as his children. Romulus and Remus grew into very kind young men, and were always helping the people of their village.
One day, the brothers found their grandfather, and learned that he had the right to the throne. The brothers assembled an army and attacked their uncle. They got their grandfather the rightful place on the throne.
In celebration, the brothers decided to build a city together. However, they could not decide a location for their city. Romulus thought his hill was the best, and Remus decided that his hill was better. They began to fight, and would not stop until one died.
When the fight ended, Romulus was the victor. He built the city based on his and his brother's plans, and he eventually became the king. Rome later grew into a formidable empire.
