Storyboard Text

  • O-oh. I’m sorry, I just felt a little sleepy.
  • Stacia… Stacia… Stacia! Are you even listening to me??
  • 96 x 43 = ?
  • She didn’t notice the changes at first… but she was slowly losing concentration during class.
  • Well, save the sleep for the pillow. This is the fourth time this week.
  • Stacia started to feel sick and dizzy more often. Instead of doing her homework after coming in from school, she would sleep due to the drowsiness. She eventually lost her place in the swimming varsity team because she started going too slow and weak.
  • I'm gonna puke...
  • But as the days passed, Stacia kept taking more and more Vicodin. She soon learned that she needed to take more Vicodin than she used to before to feel the same calmness. She began chewing the pills so that they could go down faster.
  • Her friends started to notice that there was something going on. Stacia no longer sitting with them during lunch. She started to get fidgety and very conscious about her surrounding and anxious.
  • Um, helloooo? Earth to Stacia? Are you even listening to me??
  • Stacia’s teacher called her in to talk to her about her failing grades, and she finally told the truth.
  • I'm sorry... I've- I've been taking Vicodin, and I thought it would help, but I can't converse with my classmates anymore and I always feel sick and and---
  • Oh, don't you know how dangerous that is?? I'm sorry, Stacia, but I'll have to call your mother about this.
  • Stacia, you’ve been failing all the quizzes this semester. You used to be my brightest student. What happened to you?
