Hi. My name is Dr. Lewis. Today I'm going to talk to you about teens and eating disorders, a problem that has recently become increasingly common.
Eating disorders have become increasingly common recently, partly due to the influence of media and other forms of social pressure.
16% of women sixteen to twenty-four years old have eating disorders, and in a study on a large university campus, about 3.6% of males had an eating disorder.
When most people think of eating disorders, they think of people overeating and becoming overwheigt. This is an issue, and can be solved with a good diet and execise.
Another issue related to eating is called muscle dysmorphia. 90% of teenaged boys exercised with the goal of bulking up
