  • The way christianity came to be is because in the fall of Rome, the christian church still survived. Christianity grew to dominate Europe by the 5th century AD. When christianity on the fight of Europe, the German rulers converted into christianity because of how great it was. When they converted it helped christianity grow throughout Europe. Franks and their powerful leaders played a significant role in spreading christianity through western Europe. While the powerful rulers help spread christianity, the devoted workers did the same exact thing bye spreading christianity. In the middle ages, religious structures from there culture were known as monasteries. In Monasteries they promoted beliefs and ideas of christianity. Also it is a place were monks practiced a life of prayer and worship. Monks studied christian work in monasteries also. In 486, a Frankish leader named named Clovis invaded Roman Gaul. He defeated the last great Roman army in Gaul. Around the time, clovis converted into christianity while most of his subjects became christian too. But Clovis died around 511. Then a new king came to place, Charles Martel. Charles spread christianity through his conquest. In concluding to that, thats how Christianity spread in Europe.
