Storyboard Text

  • O valiant cousin! Worthy gentleman!
  • All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!
  • Speak; if you can: what are you?
  • Thy letter have transported me beyond This ignorant present, and I feel now The future in the instant.
  • Once upon a time, the world was introduced to a man named MacBeth. He was what some may call a savage, and some may call a hero.  In the frame above, we notice MacBeth stabbing a traitor from the kingdom.
  • Was the hope drunk wherein you dressed yourself? Hath it slept since? And wakes it now, to look so green and pale.
  • We will proceed no further in this business: He hath honored me of late.
  • Macbeth and Banquo, on their journey to Forres, come across three witches. The witches claim Macbeth will become king. He asks for more information, but they do not elaborate.
  • I go, and it is done: the bell invites me. Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a knell, or to hell.
  • Due to jealousy, Lady Macbeth craves for Macbeth to kill the King. She believes that Macbeth should be King, and is ecstatic from the letter from Macbeth saying he was going to kill the King. In this scene she is speaking to Macbeth about his letter.
  • Had I died an hour before this chance, I had lived a blessed time; for from this instant there's nothing serious in mortality.
  • When Lady Macbeth proposes to kill King Duncan so that Macbeth will become king himself, Macbeth refuses and says the King had shown him kindness and therefore he shouldn't think of killing him.
  • After more pressure from Macbeth changes his mind and goes through with Duncan's murder.
  • Though slightly regretful, Macbeth makes sure to appear sorrowful before other people after they discover that Duncan was killed.
