  • We are going to tell you about the red-eared slider turtle.
  • Red-eared slider turtles can grow to be 11 inches long. They also are green with yellow stripes and have a red patch behind there ears.
  • And guess what, they have webbed feet and strong claws!
  • Hi!
  • Hey girls!
  • The Red-Eared Slider turtle eats aquatic plants,crayfish,snails,insects,and carrion.
  • Why do I have to swim?
  • The way Red -Eared Slider turtles spread is because female turtles lay eggs (2-23) and bury them. Owners discard them as pets (into the wild).
  • The only way people can control the turtles is to poison lakes, hunt them, trap them, and collect eggs and hachlings.
  • These two girls are going to tell you the websites we found this stuff on and a fun fact.
  • A fun fact is that the red-eared slider turtle was listed in the top 100 worst invasive species in the world.
