Man vs. Self Cole vs. Cole
Man vs. Nature Cole vs. Spirit Bear
Man vs. Society Cole vs. Government
This picture describes the part of Touching Spirit Bear where Cole is trying to escape the island he was banished to by swimming. He has a habit of blaming people for his mistakes and being banished to the island was one of them. He was facing himself because he is blaming other people but at the same time this is what he did and he is trying to get out of it.
This part of Touching Spirit Bear was when Cole was being attacked by the spirit bear. He is facing nature because the bear is part of nature and Cole is trying to survive.
In Touching Spirit Bear Cole has to go to a Circle Justice meeting. This shows he is facing the government because if he didn't go to the island (which he got the idea here) then he would go to jail for beating up Peter.
