  • Hi, I am Melody and I LOVE words!!! I am surrounded by thousands of them!!
  • In Chapters 1, Melody explains her love for words and that she remembers every word she ever hears.
  • Cathedral
  • Iridescent
  • Neapolitan
  •  In Chapter 2,  Melody tells us that she cant walk or talk or even wright, this means she has Cerebral Palsy.
  • But, I have never spoken a single one or taken a single step... I can walk or talk or write.
  • My arms and hands are pretty stiff, my head wobbles a little, and my body tends to move on its own agenda..
  • In Chapter 3, Melody tells us about the time when her parents and she started to figure out that she wasnt developing properly. She also explains the relationship she has with her father.
  • I cant grab it!!
  • Look Melody, Daddy brought you a play pretty!! Want to hold it?
  • Once, when Melody was little her and her mom were at the store. Meoldy  had seen earlier today that people got sick from some lead painted blocks and she saw them at the store. She tried to tell her mom, but her mom didnt understand. Then Melody lost control over over her body and her mom thought she was throwing a tantrum.
  • STOP IT!! MELODY!! 
  • GET THEM OUT BEFORE SOME ONE BECOMES SICK!!!

  • In Chapter 4,  Melody went to the doctor to test her intellect. The doctor gives her unfair questions and says that Melody is profoundly retarded and severely brain-damaged. Melody is actually really smart and she has a photographic memory!!
  • Go Mom!!
  • She's smarter than you'll ever be!!!
  •  Melody is severely brain-damaged and profoundly retarded.
