  • "Tis some visitor,"I muttered, "taping at my chamber door- Only this and nothing more."
  • "Knock. Knock"
  • "Uncertain rustling of each purple curtain." "From my books of surcease sorrow." "Here I opened wide the door."
  • "Here I opened wide the door" Darkness there and nothing more." "And the only word there spken was the wispered word,"Lenore?"
  • "Lenore?"
  • There is someone or something knock at this chamber door in the bleak of December and its really late at night.
  • Soon again I heard a tapping something louder than before. "Surely," said I, "Surely that is something at my window lattice.
  • There is someone or something knocking at his chamber door. So he gets up to go look and puts his book down that is has no grief in it.
  • Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of the bird and the bust and the door. Meant in Croaking "Nevermore"
  • "Nevermore"
  • The man opens his chamber door and sees nothing but darkness and hears nothing but the whisper "Lenore."
  • Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe and forgeet this lost Lenore! Quoth the raven,"Nevermore"
  • "Nevermore"
  • He opens the window and a raven walks in like he own the place.
  • The man is loooking confused at the bird and wondering why it is here.
  • The man ask the raven if he shall ever hear from the lost Lenore? The raven says nothing more than the simple word "Nevermore"
