Storyboard Text

  • So mankind's enemy continued his crimes, killing as often as he could, coming alone, bloodthirsty and horrible.
  • No Dane doubted the victory, for the proof, hanging high from the rafters where Beowulf had hung it, was the monster's arm, claw, and shoulder and all.
  • A deer, hunted through the woods by packs of hounds, a stag with great horns, though driven through the forest from faraway places, prefers to die on those shores.
  • As his words ended he leaped into the lake, would not wait for anyone's answer; the heaving water covered him over.
